Heat Pumps
Highly efficient, low-carbon heating for your home. Extract heat from the outside air and lower your energy bills with our premium installations.
How Air Source Heat Pumps Work
An air source heat pump looks similar to an air conditioning unit on the outside of your property. It acts like a fridge in reverse — absorbing heat from the outside air (even in temperatures as low as -20°C) and compressing it to create high temperatures to heat your home and hot water.
Because they move heat rather than burning fuel to create it, they are up to 400% efficient. For every 1kW of electricity used, you get 4kW of heat out.
- Up to 400% efficiency rating
- Reduces carbon footprint by up to 70%
- Quiet operation with modern units
- Integrates with existing radiators or underfloor heating
- Eligible for the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme
